I've decided that it is time to lose the weight I put on in the last 6 years.
My bones were always big, and I've always been larger than the average girl I suppose. But, I don't want to use that as an excuse to stay a little heavier. I think I should learn to maintain a healthy weight, exercise regimen, and know when to have fun without going too far.
When I graduated college in 2002 I was around 155 pounds, size 8, and I exercised at least 3 days a week for an hour. It was easy to walk to the university gym and hop on a machine.
After I decided to make the big move from Seattle to Chicago I became very depressed. Between January 2003 (just after graduation) and December 2003 put on about 60 pounds.
My highest weight was 209, last year I was able to get down to 193 by logging everything I ate and weighing myself every Monday.
This time I am equipped with a treadmill in my basement and I intend on using it. It's been collecting dust and since it is Winter then indoor exercise is the best option for now.
